Glenn Edward Greenwald (born March 6, 1967) is an American lawyer, journalist, columnist and author. As a columnist, Greenwald has written for The Guardian and Salon magazine.
Greenwald was named by Foreign Policy magazine as being one of the Top 100 Global Thinkers of 2013.[1]
He also was involved in reporting on Edward Snowden, and attended the IOW as a guest speaker, the latter of which heavily implied that he held Marxist-Leninist sympathies.[2]
