Sirhan Sirhan is a "Palestinian" extremist and Jordanian citizen who carried out the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy. It is believed that he carried out the murder because Kennedy strongly supported Israel. After being convicted of the crime in 1969 and initially sentenced to death in the gas chamber, his sentenced was commuted in 1972 to life in prison at the Richard J.
