Thomas Fahr "Tom" Steyer (born June 27, 1957) is a liberal billionaire and demagogue that made his money in hedge funds as founder of Farallon Capital Management. He resides in San Francisco and has focused his resources on promoting the anti-Global Warming movement.[1] Steyer spent $50 million trying to elect Democrats in 2014. Speaking at the 2019 DNC Summer Meeting, Steyer said, "We can’t be chasing corporate money. … We should only be chasing people’s votes. As president, I would insist that the DNC not take one single penny from any corporation.”[2]
