The Atlantic Ocean separates Europe and Africa from the Americas.
It is the second largest of the world's oceans, after the Pacific.
Islands of the Atlantic ocean include Iceland, the Azores, Madeira, the Canary Islands, Cape Verde Islands, St Helena, Tristan da Cunha and the Falkland Islands.
