-Hi Dataclarifier, I haven't heard from you nor IndependentSkeptic for a few days now, and I do hope that you don't leave permanently (yet). I often wonder how you, I.S., and your mother are doing, and while I do hope that God answers my prayers, I don't know if He does. It would be very unfortunate if I never get to talk with you again, as getting to communicate with you over the past few months has really meant something to me. —LiberaltearsMay Dataclarifier's mother be all well! Tuesday, 09:53, 8 September 2020 (EDT)
-:Back to basics.
-:*The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. (ESV)
-:*the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law
-:The "righteousness of God" is Christ. Focus on Christ (not Mary). Once you are "in Christ", God has no choice but to answer your prayers. He has guaranteed it, otherwise he's a liar. RobSFree Kyle! 11:04, 8 September 2020 (EDT)
-:KJV translates James 5:16 as The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much; don't misread this as if by "fervent" means you have to work at it and strive for it. It doesn't. We are not saved by works. "Fervent" in King James here simply means true and dedicated, i.e. honest and faithful. Purge out the leaven, like praying to Mary who is not the righteousness of God revealed. RobSFree Kyle! 11:09, 8 September 2020 (EDT)
