U.S. House of Representatives
Following the Biden disaster in Afghanistan which resulted in a takeover by the Taliban, Mullin made efforts to rescue Americans in the region left behind, at one point reported disappearing on September 1, 2021 though later said he was "OK."[1] His heroic attempt was opposed by establishmentarians from both parties, including far-left House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Republican leader Kevin McCarthy.[2]
