C4C Ubuntu is a revision of the GNU/Linux operating system Ubuntu. It has been created by Computers4Christians to be a fast, efficient system with a wide assortment of Christian resources preinstalled, along with office and graphics software. Since it uses the Xfce Desktop Environment, it runs well on older and less expensive hardware. Anyone with access to the Internet may download the C4C Ubuntu ISO file and make a bootable USB key or DVD with it. This allows users to run this Christian Linux distribution live and/or permanently install it. As with most Linux distros, C4C Ubuntu may also be used to test hardware and network connectivity, wipe the hard disk drive and/or rescue files from a computer that longer works properly.
This distribution is produced by Computers4Christians, which seeks to lead unbelievers to an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and to nurture believers in discipleship.
