The California Supreme Court is the highest court of California.
It consists of seven Justices and is unusually headquartered in San Francisco rather than in the state capital, Sacramento (where it also has an office in addition to one in Los Angeles.
The court posts for public access the briefs filed in cases scheduled for oral argument.[1]
