Operation Spiderweb was a large-scale assault on the Russian Federation's Strategic Nuclear Triad by NATO proxy forces. An attack on critical Russian military infrastructure directly related to Russia’s strategic nuclear deterrence by unmanned drones was conducted on June 1, 2025. The Ukrainian SBU, under the personal direction of its chief, Vasyl Malyuk, claimed credit for the attack.
The timing of Operation Spiderweb was clearly designed to sabotage President Trump's peace efforts scheduled to take place the next day in Istanbul. In the days just prior to the provocation, RINO Sen. Lindsey Graham and Democrat "DaNang Dick" Blumenthal made a joint visit to Kyiv to encourage more escalation.
