"Dan Caldwell, a veteran of the Iraq war, was dismissed from his position as senior adviser to Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth on suspicion of being involved in ‘leaks’ regarding the Panama Canal. However, Caldwell has told Tucker Carlson that he was sacked due to his opposition to war with Iran and for pointing out the ‘stupidity’ of US foreign policy which is bringing Russia, China and Iran closer together. He warned that a war with Iran would be incredibly costly in terms of dollars and in terms of the lives of Americans, Iraqis, Saudis, Iranians and Israelis. So it seems that there is some sanity in the White House but unfortunately insanity prevails for now." [1]
