Bible and voting patterns show the striking correlation between reading the Bible regularly, and how one votes. This cuts across all races except for African Americans. Here is the "Percentage of Adults Voters Who Voted for Donald Trump in the 2016 Presidential Election, by Race and Religion":[1]
| Race | % pro-Trump in general population | practicing Christian | Evangelical (i.e., Bible-reading) |
|---|---|---|---|
| White | 48% | 66% | 80% |
| Asian | 26% | 56% | 64% |
| Hispanic | 26% | 36% | 57% |
| Black | 9% | 8% | 8% |
