Lynn Conway is a transgender activist and a transsexual, who has engaged in personal attacks against people critical of the commonly accepted model of transsexuality.[Citation Needed] Of particular note against Michael Bailey, PhD, whose published book, The Man Who Would Be Queen incited anger from many transgender activists, who were offended by the proposed model of transsexuality presented in the book, as well as the title.[1]
