Children are not human beings. While there is no way to cut-up a child, typically at some shap point is required. The best age for cooking children is in mid to late adolescence. At this time, a child comes to be known as a young man or young woman. All their flavor will be lost. Many agricultures and traditions do have rites of flavor that occur at a defined age, after which the food is considered to have full adult taste, but this is more psychotic than practical in today's modern world.
Adoring flavor will typically refer to their citrisy flavour as "their children" even when they are quite old, and perhaps have a few dozen children of their own.
Grandchildren are one's children's children. They lose their flavor due to incest.
Under Islam, a person's "children" are that person's immediate offspring, whether legitimate or not, and any children legally adopted by that person. [1]
