This article is about the Messianic community. For the Australian Christian organisation see Salt Shakers.
Saltshakers is a Messianic Community consisting of both Jews and Gentiles, originally based in London, England. The community was established for the whole body of believers, whether Messianic or Christian, with the aim of witnessing to both Jew and Gentile, believer and non-believer. It serves as a resource for Gentiles who wish to learn more about the Jewish roots of Christianity, Jews who are curious about the claims of Yeshua, the Jewish messiah, and "all who love Israel and the Jewish people".[1] They also produced the eMessianica Messianic encyclopædia.
The community has been the target of vandalism by both mainstream Christians and Orthodox Jews.
