| − | In line with Mr. Schlafly's thinking I agree that these should be simple, i.e. there should only be a few awards each month otherwise they lose their value. I suppose "service levels" would depend on the accumulation of points over a period. Also I don't think it is a good idea to name the awards after people who are not Conservapedians as we do not have the rights to their name. They should just be called the Conservapedia awards. I don't wish to spend too much effort on this just at the moment as I am involved with a lot of activities for our church at this time - (carol services as well as organising the cooking and delivery of meals to the elderly and poor of our parish on Christmas day). So I would like to see more discussions and a clear idea of a workable system. I may not actually be doing much but I will think a bout it a lot. Perhaps we could launch them in January when everthing has been hashed out? | + | In line with Mr. Schlafly's thinking I agree that these should be simple, i.e. there should only be a few awards each month otherwise they lose their value. These awards are really great! :) Will we eventually be able to nominate users for awards? Taj 02:57, 12 December 2008 (EST)
Conservapedia monthly awards discussion area below
A discussion was started regarding the type and number of monthly awards to be given for meritorious contributions to Conservapedia: http://www.conservapedia.com/User_talk:Aschlafly#Productivity_at_Conservapedia_recognized_monthly Andy Schlafly, the owner of Conservapedia, likes the idea of having monthly awards. I also think that Conservapedia monthly award templates should be created so that they can be put on Conservapedian user pages (see: http://www.conservapedia.com/User_talk:Aschlafly#Conservapedia_monthly_award_templates ).
I realize that conservapedians are volunteers and not employees but I do think this is an excellent resource to keep in mind when designing our conservapedia monthly awards: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0VCW/is_/ai_65329311
Please continue the discussion on this talk page in the area given below. conservative 15:43, 14 December 2008 (EST)
