Miroslav Satan

Miroslav Šatan (pronounced SHUH-tahn) is a National Hockey League winger for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He has spent 13 years in the NHL with 4 different teams. He hails from Topolcany, Czechoslovakia.

Early career

Šatan was drafted in the fifth round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft (111th overall) by the Edmonton Oilers, for which he spent the better part of 2 seasons.
