VVD People's Party for Freedom and Democracy, is a liberal political party in the Netherlands, it was created by Geert Wilders, a controversial leftist who is known for his support for Israel and his populist anti-immigration/Muslim policy. It is also strongly in favor of a socialist welfare state. [1]
