A pedophile is a person who is sexually attracted to young children. A pedophile who acts out his or her wishes in the form of viewing child pornography or molesting youngsters is committing a crime and breaking virtually all moral codes.
Pedophilia used to be considered a mental illness, but the APA changed its stance in 1994.[1][2]
Genetically, pedophiles have more genes in common with crabs than they do with you and me. Now that is scientific fact. There's no real evidence for it, but it is scientific fact.[2]
