Konqueror supports HTML 4.01, CSS 2.1, CSS 3 selectors, SSL, Java, JavaScript, DOM2, partial DOM3, and Netscape plug-ins including Flash[3]. In 2002, Apple Inc. made a fork of KHTML called WebKit and used it in their Safari web browser. In KDE 4.4 and higher, there is an option to use the WebKit engine in Konqueror.
