This deserves some serious attention. I am not sure where the initial author gets the notion that GCC is the #1 ranked small college in the nation. According to U.S. News and World Report, that title has alternated back and forth between Williams College and Amherst College for as long as I can remember.
Perhaps the initial author is referring to a different system of categorization (i.e. #1 Christian College, etc.)?
No time to verify...class to teach.
