Brandon McInerney was falsely accused of committing a hate crime in connection with his murder of an older gay student at a public school in California.
In McInerney's much-publicized jury trial, all 12 jurors rejected the politically driven claim of prosecutors that he had committed a hate crime.[1] The jury refused to convict him, and he later pled guilty to reduced charges and a shorter prison sentence. The lamestream media, however, continued to falsely portray the murder as somehow having been a hate crime, failing to include the view of the jurors.
