::I understand why they put it in; because the reference cited does say that earthquakes are doubling. However the reference is demonstrably wrong and both DavidZa and I have demonstrated this. Doubling every 40 years
BrentH, I don't really see the relevance. The evidence is clear - major earthquakes are NOT doubling every 40 years and it doesn't much matter who says they are. There's a discussion of this and links to the statistics on the main talk page. --FindlayT 12:55, 21 September 2011 (EDT)
