He released thirteen studio albums and two Christmas albums. He also is an actor, and starred in Broken Bridges (2005) and Beer for My Horses. (2008) Keith created his own label, Show Dog Nashville.
Keith identified as a conservative Democrat, though he has supported Republican Presidents George W. Bush and Donald Trump.
