Fools Die is a 1978 novel by American writer Mario Puzo. The soft cover edition was published by Signet Nal Penguin Inc.
The novel opens in Las Vegas and follows the struggles of its characters as they grapple with the issues of money, sex, and power in the moral vacuum of post-modern society.
A review in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch at the time called Fools Die an "epic novel about fame and fortune in contemporary America" and Puzo "a gifted writer" and "a lusty chronicler of our times whose writing style bulldozes its way through pretense and hypocrisy."
