John Boozman (born December 10, 1950 in Fort Smith, Arkansas) is the junior Republican U.S. Senator from Arkansas. He defeated incumbent Democrat Blanche Lincoln during the 2010 election. He is a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, and Veterans' Affairs Committee. Previously he was U.S. Representative from Arkansas' third congressional district. Boozman attended the University of Arkansas and Southern College of Optometry.

Boozman was elected U.S. Senator in 2010 and subsequently re-elected in 2016. His older brother Fay Boozman was an Arkansas state senator and the GOP's unsuccessful nominee for the U.S. Senate in 1998.
