No Fan, but...

No fan of his, but i should have prayed more for his soul. Some more info. Sad Picture of Michael Jackson Emerges as Shock of His Death Fades [http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,529265,00.html ] Wikipedia saw a flurry of activity, with close to 500 edits made to Jackson's entry in less than 24 hours. CNET reported that by 3:15 p.m. PT, Wikipedia seemed to be "temporarily overloaded."

"Today was a seminal moment in Internet history. We've never seen anything like it in terms of scope or depth." [1]Daniel1212 11:08, 28 June 2009 (EDT)

"Candle In The Wind" comes to my mind when events such as this happen...too bad he couldn't call upon/did not find, the strength and sustaining words of Jesus Christ in his time of need. --ṬK/Admin/Talk 14:13, 28 June 2009 (EDT)

References

There are <ref> tags used in the article, but no section set up to display them. Can one of the admin fix this problems? I would do it, but the page is locked (for good reason I see) Tyrone 15:56, 28 June 2009 (EDT)

Unlock please

I can't edit this one. I'm a huge Michael Jackson fan. Just saw Robbie Fulks do his tribute to Michael called "Happy" and I got drawn back into my fascination for the the Jackson family. Please unlock. I'd like to add some material. Nate 00:54, 25 March 2011 (EDT)

Unlock please?

I want to work on this one while working on my ongoing musician project. I would greatly appreciate it if someone would unlock it. Thanks!!!--JamesWilson 20:29, 17 August 2011 (EDT)

Muslim?

I did a little research, and found plenty of controversy as to whether he converted to Islam or not. A number of sources say he did: [2] [3]. Most sources said he did, but I found one which disagreed [4]

Here's an wiki article on it by "wikiislam.net" [5]

Does anyone know if this is true? --David B (TALK) 18:59, 25 July 2017 (EDT)

Since Jackson's lawyer denied the claim, I think you should drop it. In addition, you just have news tabloids as news sources.
And Jackson died about 10 years ago and interest in him has waned - especially since there is so much news happening right now that people are really focused on (Trump, etc.).
So I don't think it is worth opening this can of worms.
But maybe you were not asking in terms of the article, but were just personally interested. Either way, I think it is best to move on. There doesn't appear to be anything in terms of solid evidence. Conservative (talk) 19:41, 25 July 2017 (EDT)
Okay, thanks. I don't really care, but was checking an edit where a comment about that was removed. --David B (TALK) 20:06, 25 July 2017 (EDT)
