The Paxton Impeachment is the secret plot that was sprung at the last minute to remove conservative Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton from office in late May 2023, as apparently demanded by the dark money globalists who control most Texas Republican officials, including Gov. Greg Abbott and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick. Even the liberal New York Times observed that this was “unexpected — as of a week ago there was little public indication that an impeachment could be imminent.”[1]

The day after an abbreviated debate on the House floor to impeach, despite the lack of a single public hearing or any real advance notice to the public, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick quickly appointed a stacked committee of Republican puppets and liberal Democrats to set one-sided rules and procedures for the "Court of Impeachment" in the Texas Senate:[2]

  • Chairman Sen. Brian Birdwell (R-Granbury), who was the author for the dark money globalists on their bad-faith 8-year extension to their Convention of States, SJR 52 (defeated in the House on a point-of-order against it).[3]
  • Sen. Juan “Chuy” Hinojosa, D-McAllen, Vice Chair
  • Sen. Brandon Creighton, R-Conroe
  • Sen. Pete Flores, R-Pleasanton
  • Sen. Joan Huffman, R-Houston
  • Sen. Phil King, R-Weatherford
  • Sen. Royce West, D-Dallas
