Exposing a Compromised Mainstream Media

History has proven once again that great nations failed in the past when the wrong people were in positions of power and/or when their own citizens remained complacent by ignoring questionable changes.

Silence by citizens and others can often be attributed to fear of retribution from strong authorities with the power to cause problems for those who dared defy and/or criticize them, as is happening now; nevertheless, we can and must speak out when we see abuses of power.

As for our nation's present occupant of the White House and his administration, there is an ongoing battle waging in the Deep State between good and evil, dovetailing with our country's profound moral decay.

Concerns about FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago

Consider what happened to President Trump. The Biden Administration gave the FBI permission to invade the former President's private home in Florida. They swarmed Mar-a-Lago, televised the shocking scene as it happened, and further confiscated Trump's private papers. It has even been claimed this occurred without sufficient evidence to validate such a disrespectful, unannounced invasion of the former President’s home, yet no apologies were forthcoming.

Can you imagine what foreigners thought of this and/or how our enemies might have used it to our embarrassment and perhaps even potential harm?

What should Americans do about shocking situations when they occur, for if Trump could receive such treatment by the FBI, what can citizens expect for themselves in the future?

No matter whether you liked or disliked Trump as President, it was a radical decision for our government to authorize an invasion of Mar-a-Lago, making Trump appear to be a criminal.

An avenue to voice our opinions

We have one major way to make our opinions known: we can vote.

Becoming an informed voter, however, has become a difficult task, as many of our current mainstream media sources, to their shame, have proved themselves to be politically biased and report the news accordingly. Even FOX often fails to provide another view of what has happened and has suffered greatly in ratings since its firing of Tucker.

It can take time to discern which media sources, politicians, and candidates for public positions are the more trustworthy and credible, but it is well worth the time and effort to do so. It is important that media sources be held accountable for what they say, claim, and/or write. If something is an opinion, it belongs in the Opinion Section of a newspaper and not on the front page or the lead subject on radio or TV.

Americans need and deserve to know all the facts regarding specific political matters that impact our lives and families. Anything less is dishonest and potentially harmful to our nation and citizens.

It should not be the job of citizens to investigate everything stated in our newspapers or what we hear on TV. Media sources and/or politicians who are exaggerating and/or perpetrating lies for self-serving reasons must be exposed.

It is essential for our citizens and for people throughout the World to know they can trust what our officials and our media sources state to be accurate, but can they do that today? Not likely, but if enough of us demand more honesty from officials and the mainstream media perhaps we can regain back our World respect.

Consider that Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Joe Biden were found to have committed offenses that ran contrary to law, but not one of them experienced the outrage and/or call for indictment which Trump presently faces. Trump even faces a threat of incarceration.

Demanding equality and fairness

Concerned citizens must step up and demand equality and fairness, not just for Donald Trump and his 2024 election bid, but for the sake of our nation. A biased mainstream media and officials who ignore the double standard taking place -- where Democrats and Republicans are not being treated the same over very similar accusations -- seems to be far more dangerous to our nation’s future than anything else to date.

Unless Americans do start to complain about the double standard we are continuing to witness, this could be the beginning of the end of our once great and outstanding nation. If not checked, this double standard will only continue and will likely increase in time. We cannot remain great if we have a set of rules for one party and the opposite for another.

If Democrats are able to pull this off, perhaps even sending Trump to prison, we must fear for our children and grandchildren, for our nation cannot survive as a Constitutional Republic with a double standard of justice in place.

Final thoughts

Republican Rep. Nancy Mace said something interesting. Most likely a majority of USA patriots mirror her thoughts: “The indictment timing looks very weaponized. Who can honestly deny what has happened to Trump is highly suspicious?"

Now that our nation's double standard, two-tiered justice system is being exposed, those aware of the situation must demand that it be corrected. We owe our children the gift to do whatever we can to explore all the facts today, keep an open mind, and determine what and/or who are guilty of lies, deceptions, and selfish goals that could harm our citizens.

There is no denying this could be a changing point in our nation. We must give this our attention, and once we reach an educated decision we must share what we believe and know.

Joe Biden had classified material at several places, but there has not been a single charge against him.

FBI documents allege Burisma executives intended to pay Joe and Hunter Biden $5 million in a shakedown scheme. This corruption has now been confirmed but to date there has not been any effort by Democrats to address the facts.

Explosive new allegations of Biden family corruption have also come to light, but so far mainstream media sources have not yet provided the dirty facts about them, yet these same sources were eager to destroy Donald Trump for far less.

Something is seriously wrong, and it must be exposed and corrected so it will not, cannot happen again.

When was the last time you called, wrote, and/or made an appointment to talk to your government officials and/or contact media sources with problems that concerned you?

Most of us just complain to one another, but rarely take the time to make an appointment with our officials and/or write members of Congress with specific, valid concerns. Now is the time to do so.

As for our nation, this is no longer the USA many of us grew up in and respected.
