Leo Brent Bozell III, known simply as Brent Bozell (born 1955), is a conservative writer and founder of the Media Research Center and the Parents Television Council. He is the nephew of William F. Buckley.
Career
He has served as chairman for the National Conservative Political Action Committee and president of the Parents Television Council. Currently, he is the president of the Media Research Center[1] and advisor for the Parents Television Council.[2]
Syndicated columns
Bozell writes syndicated weekly news and entertainment columns that can be freely read online on the MRC website. In the news columns, Bozell examines the media's alleged left-wing bias. In his entertainment columns, Bozell tackles bad entertainment in America, such as extremely violent video games (e.g. Grand Theft Auto), crass television shows (e.g. Family Guy), gangsta rap, and left-wing anti-religious comedians such as Bill Maher and George Carlin.
Personal
Bozell graduated from the University of Dallas with a B.A. in history.[1] A practicing Catholic, is also a member of William Donohue's Catholic League, and even examines anti-Catholicism in the media. This is a recurring theme in his columns, since he points out that Catholicism is a favorite target of atheists and leftists.
