Can you help me define terms like "homosexual"? There seems to be an idea that men who have sex with men do not necessarily "have a homosexual identity" or "do not consider themselves homosexual". What does this mean? Is it mere denial, or what? --Ed Poor Talk 22:15, 25 October 2011 (EDT)

:It means these people don't wish to define themselves as homosexual, and don't want to be associated with any stereotypes that come with it.  "Men who have sex with men" are just that, nothing more.  Perhaps they resent being associated with more flamboyant gays, or maybe they reject labeling altogether.  I can understand the sentiment.  --CamilleT 23:20, 25 October 2011 (EDT)

:::Or it could mean men who are coerced into having sex with men for any one of a variety of reasons, or men who have sex with men in order to pay the bills and not out of a desire for gratification, or men who have sex with men only because they have no access to women.
