Aggadah

Aggadah (Aramaic: ×××× "telling", "story") refers to exegetical commentary in Rabbinical literature. Rather than dealing with practical matters of Jewish law and behavior (halakhah), aggadah explores ethical ideas, biblical characters, folklore and historical anecdotes.
