Some American critics view the UN as an agent for eroding the sovereignty of the [[United States]] and instead promoting forms of world government. Some claim that President [[Bill Clinton]] rejected and ignored the position of the United Nations when he ordered U.S. military "police actions" in foreign countries. President [[George W.
