Talk:Translating eternal life

The phrase is often in the context of "heirs of eternal life", with a similar meaning related to Reagan's phrase, "freedom is never one generation away from extinction", meaning the present generation must embrace things like "freedom" or "eternal life" now, where they become heirs of what's been passed down from previous generations, or the concept risks extinction (it's happened before in other cultures, both the concepts of freedom & idea of eternal life became extinct). It doesn't refer to future events after natural death.

- Precisely so. The everlasting fire (IOWs, the Holy Spirit of God) of the spiritual menorah, found in the chiastic literary structures (when closely examined and visualized) throughout the Hebrew and New Testament Scriptures, is to be cemented in the heart by prayerfully reading and understanding the inspired word of God. This is the true and fulfilled sanctuary message beautiful like none other, encapsulating the literal Temple Menorah as a shadow unto the everlasting chiastic, symbolic menorah in God's word whichâunlike (the present) heaven and earthâ"shall not pass away." (Matt. 24:35)
