Rhema (ῥήμα) (Plural: rhemata (ῥήμαÏα)) is a Greek term for spoken word, facts, things, message, or sayings, but is often translated by modern English versions of the Bible as word. Today, the more powerful and familiar way to translate "rhema" might be as "facts".
