ClamWin™ is a free, open-source anti-virus program. It is based on the ClamAV™ engine, which is also open-source. ClamWin is fairly popular, as it boasts 600,000 daily users worldwide.[1]

Disadvantages
- No real-time guard—regular scans are needed[1]
- Some complain about poor detection rate, although their website boasts the opposite[1]

- Fewer virus definitions than some other options[2]
