Alliteration
From Conservapedia
Alliteration is the repetition of consonant sound, generally at the beginning of a word. It is used predominantly in poetry, but also in literary prose. Alliteration was one of the chief literary devices used in Old English verse.
Examples:
- "I have stood still and stopped the sound of feet...." (Robert Frost, "Acquainted with the Night")
- "Shifty Schiff impeachment sham show." (Sean Hannity during the Trump impeachment trial)
- "Blindsided by the Bolton book." (Andrea Mitchell during the Trump impeachment trial)
