Kenosha is a city in Wisconsin. It is known for the Kenosha Riots that took place in late August 2020, following an incident in the city during which a police offer shot and paralyzed Jacob Blake.

A woman called the police in Kenosha, Wisconsin, regarding Jacob Blake.[1] After Blake was, according to National Review, "physically scuffling with [police] officers,"[1] the twenty-nine year old Blake was shot while going toward his vehicle.[2] It was later discovered that a knife was present in Blake's car.[3]

Riots

Sources including Fox News referred to the riots as "protests".[4]
