Australia
Perth is the capital of Western Australia and the major urban conurbation in that state.
Australia's Perth is known as a key logistics center for natural resources.
Scotland
Perth is the fifth largest city in Scotland. During the Middle Ages it was known as St John's Toun, a name which is recalled by the town's football club St Johnstone.
