DC Gulag is a term coined by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene to describe the inhumane conditions for the Trump supporters being held in a prison in Washington, D.C., long after the 70-day limit on pre-trial detention under the Speedy Trial Act and Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
An estimated 40 such political prisoners were being subjected to mistreatment in the DC Gulag as of December 2021.
