Witness tampering

Bribing the witness, harassing the witness, holding hostage the witness's friends or family, or other forms of barbarism or trickery used to get a witness to deny, obscure, or omit testimony. This also includes actions taken to prevent a witness from showing up in court.[1]This includes killing the witness.
