As of 2024, Alice Weidel is the leader of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) political party.
2025 elections
Weidel was asked if she also wants to use "hate and agitation like Donald Trump" in her political campaigns. Weidel responded saying that people were sick of the media, they didn't want to hear all the media hate for Trump and that's why he won, and that people don't want to hear that woke garbage anymore.[1]
Elon Musk posted on X, "only the AfD can save Germany" and penned an op-ed in support of his position in Welt am Sonntag.[2]
