Mordecai

Mordecai was a Benjaminite who lived in Susa, he had been carried into exile from Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon.[1] He had a cousin named Esther, whom he raised as his daughter.[1] Esther was made Queen of Persia. Esther 10:3 records that Mordecai the Jew was advanced to high honor next in rank to King Ahasuerus of Persia.
