Global Anglican Future Conference

Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON) is the conservative side of the Anglican Church, comprised of roughly 50% of the overall members and up to 85% of the practicing ones. Many of GAFCON's members are in Africa, where Christianity is booming.
In October 2025, GAFCON officially split from the Church of England because it appointed a pro-homosexual Archbishop of Canterbury. The Anglican Church of Canada remained with the Church of England.
