James Talarico

James Talarico is a Texas State Senator and the leading candidate to become the Democrat nominee for the U.S. Senate election in 2026, which is currently held by Republican John Cornyn.
Talarico is a former Presbyterian seminarian who is the grandson of a Baptist minister. Talarico often refers to the Bible to try to justify his Leftist political positions. But Talarico favors expanding gambling in Texas, particularly casinos.
