California is a state on the west coast of the United States. Although California once produced President Ronald Reagan, today it is thought of as one of the most liberal states in America. It has more abortions performed than any other American state, and one of its largest cities, San Francisco, has become synonymous with homosexuality. Much of the liberal media, including Hollywood, is centered in California.
