Judge

A Judge is a official charged with overseeing court cases and interpreting laws. A judge an instrumental part of common law governments, as they have the authority to make binding law. There are several different types of judges with different names in the United States.
Judges are generally appointed by an Executive or elected by the populace for a term of years. United States District Court Judges are appointed by the President on the advice and consent of the Senate. However Magistrates are appointed by the Judges of each District Court.
