Al Jolson

Al Jolson (born Asa Yoelson in Russian Lithuania 1886 - died in San Francisco 1950) was a Jewish American actor and singer.
He is best known for his role in the 1927 film The Jazz Singer, which was one of the first films with audible dialogue.
