Duck

Duck (Spanish: pato, French: canard, German: Ente, Greek: ÏάÏια) wild or domesticated web-footed swimming birds of the family Anatidae.

Use as Livestock
In colonial times, duck and goose were choice fowl to eat for the Christmas feast. Today, duck is not often found in supermarkets and must be hunted. Duck is popular in several other world cuisines: Peking duck features prominently in Chinese cooking, while the French have perfected foie gras, or liver fat.
