The National Center for Science Education (NCSE) advocates teaching the theory of evolution in U.S. public schools, to the exclusion of scientific creationism. It considers Intelligent Design to be a form of creationism. Their slogan is, "Defending the Teaching of Evolution in the Public Schools".
