Adultery

Adultery is the sin of "knowing" or "laying with" someone other than your husband or wife. The Bible forbids adultery in the Ten Commandments. The punishment for adultery, according the Bible, should be death. Many prominent American politicians have been accused of adultery or exposed as adulterers, such as Newt Gingrich.
